Personal Hygiene Policy
|
| It is the policy of Ballyclare Nursery School that we encourage
every child to develop a responsibility for, and interest in
basic personal hygiene. The children wash their hands after
using the toilet, and also before they eat any food in school.
The children learn to flush the toilet after use. They know that
the tables are sprayed with Dettox before and after Break -
thus protecting them from germs. |

Drug Administration Policy
|
| It is the policy of this school that all parents are responsible
for the administration of medicine to their child unless special
arrangements are made. Children should not be sent to school
when they are ill, as children at this age are very prone to
infection, therefore it is both unfair to the child and to his
peers, not to mention the Staff. |
