Arrangements for tomorrow- Weds 7th January - Dear Parents and Carers The car park has now been gritted so we are aiming to open school tomorrow. We will be assessing the car park again in the morning and if anything changes I will let you know in the morning. For now please bring your child as normal. Extra care should be taken in and around the school grounds and in the car park. If the weather continues to be icy I would ask that you consider walking or parking outside the car park if possible. It is very difficult to plan when the weather is so unpredictable. Please make any decision to attend based on what is best for your child and your family. If you need to drop your child off slightly later at the beginning of their session for any reason, then this is fine also. We look forward to seeing everyone back tomorrow wherever possible. On Thursday 19th December we invite parents and carers and any other family members to join us for a Christmas gathering of “Coffee and Carols” in the grounds of the nursery.
The children are learning some simple Christmas Carols and songs to perform to you on that day.
We are also delighted to welcome Fairview Primary School and Ballyclare Primary School choirs who will be singing along with our children, as well as performing some carols of their own to get us into the Christmas spirit!
There will be coffee as well as other refreshments available for adults to enjoy!
Times for the sessions are:
10:30- 11:15am
1:45-2:15pm
After children have sung, they will return to their classrooms to be collected as usual.
The car park may be slightly more busy than usual on this day. Please consider parking further away and walking up to the school to avoid unnecessary traffic if possible.
